How your rating is shown

Your rating helps organizers match you fairly, and it’s visible to other members on your profile — here’s what determines which number shows.

Manual skill level vs. DUPR

• If you haven’t linked a DUPR account, Skill Level on your profile settings is the number organizers and other players see.
• Once you link DUPR and it has a doubles rating, that field is replaced by a read-only Rating field pulled automatically from DUPR — you can’t edit it manually anymore.
• If your DUPR link goes stale for more than two weeks, Skill Level reappears so you’re never left without a rating you can set yourself.

Note

Dink+ doesn’t currently have a setting to hide your rating from other members — it’s part of your profile the same way your name and match history are.
