Run weekly play
Set up courts, run rounds, and confirm results each week of a ladder league.
The league dashboard (/leagues/<id>) has Roster, Play, and Standings tabs for everyone, plus Settings (and, on flagged accounts, Dev) for organizers only.
Set up the week
Section titled “Set up the week”On the Play tab, before a week starts you assign players to courts — drag players onto a court, or leave them Unassigned. Tap Start Round 1 to begin (it warns you first if anyone is still unassigned).
Run a round
Section titled “Run a round”Each court shows one of these statuses: Ready, Playing, Round done, Waiting on neighbor, or Final. As organizer you can:
- Start Round
<n>on a court that’s ready. - Enter scores for a court you can manage, or that you’re playing on yourself.
- Confirm scores (or Confirm & finalize court on the last round) once a round’s games are all scored.
The round picker lets you switch between Live (each court at its own current round) and a fixed round number to review history. Organizers also get a Standings / Matchups toggle — Matchups shows each court’s games with inline score entry instead of standings.
Organizer-only controls in the round picker:
- Manage players — drop a player from a court, or add a player/substitute to one. Dropping or adding previews the outcome first: it may just apply to that court (“Added to Court N” / “Court N plays short”), it may reshuffle other courts too (you confirm the new layout before it applies), or a drop that would leave a court short may ask you to + Add a substitute first. There’s no direct swap between courts. Only available between rounds, once every court is ready.
- + Add a round — appears until any court reaches Final.
- Finish week now — cancels the remaining planned rounds so the week ends at the last one played; you still confirm each court afterward so tiebreak checks run. This only appears while there are rounds left to cancel.
