Report results to DUPR

Turn on DUPR reporting for a tournament, then review and send finalized matches to DUPR for rating.

A DUPR event sends its finished matches to DUPR so they count toward players’ ratings. You turn it on before players register, then send the results after the tournament completes.

Do this before you take sign-ups. In the tournament’s Settings tab, in the DUPR event card:

  1. Switch on DUPR event. Every player must have a linked DUPR account to register or be added, and guests are blocked. The card reads “Requires a linked DUPR account”.
  2. Optional: switch on DUPR+ (premium) event so only DUPR+ members can register.
  3. Check Facility timezone. It stamps the date on every match sent to DUPR. The default is America/Chicago. A wrong zone can put matches on the wrong day.

The DUPR event setting on the tournament Settings tab

Every setting on the card is in Tournament settings.

If entrants had already registered, a warning banner says how many “can’t play this event”: they have no linked DUPR account, or their account lacks the level you required. Their results can’t be reported, so ask them to link DUPR or remove them.

A player who isn’t linked sees a Connect DUPR prompt before they can finish registering. See Register and pay for a tournament.

The DUPR tab appears on a tournament with DUPR event on, or one that already has matches on DUPR. It’s titled Send to DUPR and lists every finalized match, grouped by division. With none, it reads “No finalized matches to report yet.”

The header counts matches as “N on DUPR · N eligible · N blocked” and says which timezone the dates use. On a first use it adds “verify this timezone in Settings before submitting”.

Each row shows the round, the players with their DUPR IDs (or “not linked”), and the score. A tag shows where the match stands:

Tag Meaning
On DUPR Sent and up to date.
Out of sync You changed the score after sending it.
Failed The send failed. The reason shows on the row.
Unconfirmed DUPR didn’t confirm the send, so it may or may not exist there.
Removed from DUPR You removed it after sending.

A row Dink+ can’t send carries “Not submittable:” and the reason:

Reason What to do
score not finalized Finish the match.
no games recorded Enter the score.
tied game score Correct the score.
more than 5 games Dink+ can’t send matches with more than 5 games.
incomplete team The team is missing a player.
guest player Guests can’t be reported.
duplicate player across teams A player appears on both sides.
player without a linked DUPR account The player must link DUPR.
already on DUPR Nothing to do.
unconfirmed duplicate — contact support Contact support.

Rows may also show notes. “Ask Name to reconnect their DUPR account at pbdink.app, then resubmit” means their link has gone stale. “DUPR account restricted (missing BASIC)” or “needs DUPR+ for this event” flag a level problem. “Sub-6 winning score” warns that DUPR may weight the game differently. The match is still included.

Sending opens only after the tournament is Completed. Until then the tab says “Submitting opens once the tournament is completed.”

  1. Look over the rows. Everything eligible is ticked. Untick any match you don’t want to send. Matches you removed from DUPR earlier start unticked.
  2. Tap Send to DUPR.
  3. Read the dialog: “This reports scores to DUPR for player ratings.” It says how many matches will go. Tap Submit to DUPR.

While it works the tab reads “Validating players & submitting…”. Dink+ sends up to 100 matches at a time and works through bigger sets in batches (“Submitting batch 2 of 3…”). When it finishes, each row shows what happened: Submitted to DUPR, Rejected with the reason, Submit failed, or “recovered — verify on DUPR”.

Rows that are On DUPR or Out of sync have two buttons.

  • Update pushes a corrected score to DUPR. It’s available only when the row is Out of sync. Editing a score, or using Clear & Requeue, after a match was sent is what marks it out of sync. See Scores, confirmation and disputes.
  • Remove deletes the match from DUPR. A dialog reads “This deletes the match from DUPR — player ratings will no longer count it.” Tap Remove to confirm.

Unconfirmed rows have no buttons. Use the Contact support link on the row and quote the reference shown.

Matches that were sent and then deleted here appear under “On DUPR without a local match”. They still count toward ratings until you tap Remove.

Only organizers can see the DUPR tab. A DUPR help & disputes link sits on the tab and on the settings card.
